Dr Laxmichand Deveriya holds Master's degree in Linguistics and a doctorate in Sanskrit Linguistics from the University of Bombay/Mumbai where he also studied Arabic and French. After a stint with journalism, he joined the University of Indore as a translator. In 1979 he joined the Reserve Bank of India, from where he retired as Manager in 2008.
He has published three volumes of poetry, a revelatory volume on the dichotomy of Indian press and a psychoanalytical work pertaining to creativity.
